Compact Prairie Clover is a low-growing native perennial with slender stems and dense, cylindrical flower heads of bright pink-purple blooms. Blooms attract native bees and small butterflies. As a legume it fixes nitrogen, enriching the soil around it. Excellent for dry, well-drained sites including rocky outcrops and prairies. Drought tolerant once established.
