Blue Mistflower is a herbaceous perennial that is a bee and butterfly magnet. It spreads through shallow rhizomes, so it spreads quickly, but can be controlled by pulling out the rhizomes. It works well as a border plant, ground cover or filler plant. It prefers woodland margins, stream banks and moist meadows. Tolerates poor drainage.
