Big Red Sage is a tall, shrubby sage with long, showy flower spikes. The tubular flowers are bright scarlet red, attractive to hummingbirds. It does best in full sun, in well-drained soils. Big Red Sage blooms from spring through fall and will die back in the cold winters but come back reliably.
