Halberdleaf Hibiscus is an herbaceous perennial producing large white blooms with a maroon center. It dies down to the ground each year and emerges again in the spring. It is a striking plant that attracts butterflies. It is a plant suitable for wetland gardens, poorly draining soils and rain gardens. It does best in full sun, and with sufficient moisture, it tolerates various soils.
